How do I create a new folder?
There are multiple ways to create a new folder:
- Initially, you won’t have any folders displayed in the folders table. You can create a new folder by clicking on the button inside it called Create folder.
- Folders can also be added via the Add new folder button in the top right corner of the Folders table view in the educator dashboard.
- The third option is via the folders list page. Click on the folder icon next to the search bar.
- Finally, via the new assessment button.
Click on the + Assessment button to open a pop-up where you can add a new folder. In the second input box, enter the name of the folder you want to create, then click Add. Once added, the dropdown above will update to include the newly created folder.
What are the different folder statuses?
A folder can have either an Active or Archived status. By default, folders are set to Active. You can change a folder’s status by marking it as Archived.
Archived folders will not appear in the folders table on the Educator Dashboard page. To access or view archived folders, you’ll need to navigate to the Folders List page.
It’s important to note that if a folder contains any assessments and its status is changed from Active to Archived, all assessments within that folder will automatically be marked as Archived as well.
How do I assign a new assessment to a folder?
Click on the + Assessment button on the top right corner of the page. This will either open a pop-up prompting you to select a folder where you want to save the assessment or take you directly to the create assessments page.
How can I move an assessment to a different folder?
To move assessments to a different folder:
- Click on the folder you wish to manage.
- Select the assessment(s) you want to move by checking the box next to each one.
Note:
If the folder you’re moving the assessments to has an Archived status, the assessments will automatically be marked as Archived as well. If you don’t want the assessments to be archived, make sure to move them to an Active folder.
